I would like to dedicate this post to everyone who is willing to acknowledge the fact that New Years Eve is just NOT as exciting as everyone pretends that it is.

Everyone wants it to be exciting but sometimes I think it's just a relief to have a new start to a quieter time of a new year. Then again maybe that's just my age showing. Love- you-KJT

I used to watch soap operas when I was younger (only Days and Y&R), and for years, I would romanticize New Year's, thinking it should involve glitzy dresses and parties.
These days I would much rather bring in the New Year in a quiet way with the people I am closest to.
Quiet or not, I think New Years should really involve some kind of toasting, though--even if it is with Diet Coke since I gag on champagne. :) Cheers!
As I already told you, I was asleep at midnight.
Maybe I should try to do something more exciting next year...:)
